KÀ, another brilliant acrobatic creation from Cirque du Soleil, is performed inside a grandeur arena space within the MGM Grand Hotel and Casino .
KÀ is a coming of age story created and directed by acclaimed theatre and film director Robert Lepage and illustrates a theatrical story of Imperial Twins, a young man and a young woman and their coming-of-age journey experiencing the wondrous and heartbreaking conflicts of life and love.
You will be continuously enchanted by the KÀ performers as they silently unfold the plot, only acrobatically depicting the dangers that lie in wait for the twins at every turn. The costumes and colors are mysterious and rich in color. The storyline is easy to follow as well as the good vs. evil characterizations. With a floating stage which can rotate on all three axis, the show combines fire and fireworks as visual enhancement to the incredibly detailed costumes and makeup.
KÀ combines martial arts, acrobatics, puppetry, interactive video projections and pyrotechnics to cleverly accent this epic saga of a boy and a girl who have to embark on an adventurous journey to fulfill their individual destinies.
